WHERE ARE YOU BASED? ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR TRAVEL TO OUR WEDDING LOCATION?

I am based in London, England and able to travel to wherever you are! Travel will always be included in your package.

 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SCHEDULE A MEETING WITH YOU BEFORE FINALISING THE BOOKING?

Yes! In fact, I insist! Before finalising booking I will schedule a phone call or online consultation with you so we can discuss details of your day, get to know each other and answer any other queries you may have.

 

WHAT'S YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

My approach to wedding photography is mostly photojournalistic. I like to say 90% candid, 10% editorial. I aim to capture your day in an unobtrusive way. I will only offer prompts or direction when needed, for example, with your couples portraits or wedding party and group shots. My editing style is natural, balancing bright and vivid colours to make sure all skin tones appear beautiful. I usually edit to the season, so spring/summer weddings and engagements take on a lighter tone, while autumn and winter are a little darker.

 

WHAT IS YOUR USUAL TURNAROUND TIME FOR EDITING PHOTOS?

It is dependant on the time of year, with the summer months being busier. Generally I aim to return your full wedding gallery in 6-8 weeks, in the meantime you will receive 8-10 preview images from the day within 48 hours which you can immediately share with friends and family. For engagement sessions it is 1-2 weeks after the shoot.

 

CAN WE OBTAIN THE RAW FILES FROM THE WEDDING?

I'm afraid this is not something I offer to clients. As standard in the photography industry, the photographer maintains the copyright to their work and the RAW files are the "negatives" for digital files, which should remain with the photographer. The files are also inaccessible to the majority of clients as specialist software is required to view them.

 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES?

The sooner, the better! To avoid disappointment it's best to book as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed.

 

HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PROCESS WORK FOR YOUR SERVICES?

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required on booking your package. All major credit and debit cards are accepted and processed through my website. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.

 

DO WE NEED TO ARRANGE FOR MEALS FOR YOU DURING THE WEDDING DAY?

Yes please! Full wedding days are long and photographer's like to eat too! No but seriously, it's unusual for us to leave the wedding venue/reception once we're there as we don't want to miss any moments from the day. So a meal we can have away from the main wedding party is much appreciated.

 

HOW MANY IMAGES ARE TYPICALLY INCLUDED IN YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES?

It varies on the size of wedding, typically an 8 hour wedding will receive around 400+ photos.

 

CAN WE HAVE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER TO CAPTURE OUR WEDDING?

Yes! If you would like additional coverage of your day, for example, you are having a larger wedding or would like to include morning prep for both partners, then I would highly recommend a second photographer. This can be booked as an "Add-on" through the wedding/engagement packages on my website. I will edit and deliver all images from the day, including images taken by the second photographer.

 

WE ARE INTERESTED IN A PRE-WEDDING OR ENGAGEMENT SHOOT. IS THAT SOMETHING YOU OFFER?

Yes! This is something that is included on all my wedding packages. You can also swap the engagement shoot for an additional hour of coverage on your wedding day.

 

OUR WEDDING BUDGET IS X AMOUNT, DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?

All discounts are listed on the individual packages on my website.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE WEDDING ALBUMS AS PART OF YOUR SERVICES?

I offer wedding albums on request. If you would like a handcrafted album then let me know and we can discuss options.

 

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes! Let me know if your venue requires a copy of the certificate and I'll be happy to provide that for you.

 

WHAT PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I primarily shoot with Nikon and Fujifilm cameras and a variety of lenses.
