Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based? Do you travel?

I'm based in Islington, North London. Travel is included in all UK packages, whether that's across London or elsewhere in the UK. For international elopements and destinations further afield, travel costs are discussed on enquiry, get in touch and we'll work something out.

Can we meet before booking?

Yes, and I'd prefer it. Before anything is confirmed I'll arrange a call or video chat so we can talk through your day, get a feel for each other, and make sure we're a good fit. No obligation.

What's your style?

Relaxed and documentary. I work quietly in the background and let the day unfold naturally; I'd say 90% candid, 10% directed. I'll guide you when it's useful, mostly for couple portraits or group shots, but I'm not going to spend your wedding day staging moments that didn't happen. My editing is natural and season-led: lighter in spring and summer, a little moodier in autumn and winter. Skin tones always look like skin tones.

How long until we get our photos?

Within 48 hours of your wedding you'll receive 8–10 preview images to share straight away. The full gallery follows within 6–8 weeks, depending on the time of year.

Can we have the RAW files?

No — this is standard across the industry. RAW files are the unedited source files, essentially the digital negatives, and they stay with the photographer. What you receive are the finished, edited images, which is the actual work.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates, particularly summer Saturdays, go quickly and I can only take one wedding per day. If you're planning more than a year ahead, it's still worth reaching out early.

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. This is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding. All major cards accepted, processed through the website.

Do you need a meal on the day?

Yes please. Full day weddings are long and I'll be on my feet the entire time. A meal with the suppliers, away from the main wedding party, is always appreciated, and means I won't miss anything while I step out.

How many images will we receive?

It depends on the length of coverage and the size of the wedding. As a rough guide: elopement packages return around 150–250 images, a Town Hall or small wedding around 250–450, and a full day wedding 500+ or more. Quality over quantity, every image in your gallery will be worth being there.

Is a connection session included?

A connection session is included with the Full Day and Full Day Extended packages. For all other packages it can be added on, just ask when you enquire. It's a relaxed hour or two before the wedding day where we spend time together, get comfortable in front of the camera, and means the day itself feels much more natural.

Can we add a second photographer?

A second photographer is included in the Full Day Extended package (10 hours). It's not available as a standalone add-on for other packages, but if you're unsure whether you need one get in touch and we can talk it through.

Do you offer discounts?

Any available discounts are listed on the individual packages page.

Can we order a wedding album?

Yes, on request. Get in touch and we can talk through options.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, fully insured. If your venue needs a copy of the certificate just let me know and I'll send it over.

What camera equipment do you use?

Nikon and Fujifilm, with a range of lenses depending on the day.
